The Senior Payroll Systems Analyst forms part of the North America Payroll team in the Global Business Services department. This role will work as a key member of the Payroll team to execute current processes, policies, and procedures with a view to proactively identify areas for improvement. The Senior Payroll Systems Analyst position reports directly to the Payroll Manager, US Global Business Services.
This individual plays a critical role in the flawless execution of employee payroll activities, government reporting, system governance, and audit compliance

Role Responsibilities

Be an effective member of the Payroll team, acting as the lead for system related queries, recommending and managing any actions to completion
Assist the Payroll team in completing payroll processing, quarterly balancing, and annual year-end reconciliations
Ensure all functional and process requirements and improvements are understood and implemented, including the assessment of proposed changes and improvements and ensuring alignment to business needs and overall architecture
Maintain effective relationship with internal and external stakeholders and vendors
Identify process improvement initiatives and define standards for new processes while driving special projects as assigned
Create, maintain, and run reports as required using both Dayforce and Excel
Ensure all Payroll related testing is completed accurately and in a timely manner
Create and maintain Governance documentation for proposed system updates


Qualifications

Requirements
University degree- BS/BA or equivalent
Knowledge of Dayforce platform and configuration
3-5 years of Payroll related experience
Demonstrated high level of analytical and problem-solving skills
Comprehend technical requirements and to lead discussions with peers
Ability to rigorously test system solutions with real business scenarios
Proficiency with Windows and MS Office including solid knowledge of Excel
A proven track record of working with internal and external stakeholders

Preferences
MBA or similar graduate studies
International payroll/time tracking experience
Experience with analytic and reporting platforms
Beverage or spirits industry background
SAP skills highly valuable
