Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, LTS Hospitality Management. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for helping the General Manager ensure that day-to-day business operations run smoothly. The Assistant General Manager may draw up weekly schedules, order merchandise, and assist the General Manager with training, recruiting, promotions and planning. We are looking for someone with 3 years minimum experience with Marriott, IHG or Hilton brands. Also, excellent customer service skills are a must.
Staff Management:
- Recruiting, hiring, training, and scheduling employees; managing performance, addressing employee concerns, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Guest Relations:
- Providing exceptional customer service, addressing guest complaints, and ensuring a positive guest experience.
Operational Oversight:
- Overseeing daily operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage departments, to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
Financial Management:
- Assisting in managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing revenue-generating strategies.
Strategic Planning:
- Working with the General Manager to develop and implement strategic plans for the hotel.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensuring that the hotel maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety, and overall guest satisfaction.
Compliance:
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Communication:
- Acting as a liaison between the management team and staff, communicating effectively with guests and stakeholders.
Problem Solving:
- Identifying and addressing issues and problems that arise during daily operations.
