*Job Summary:* The Estimator is responsible for accurately calculating the total costs associated with upcoming projects or bids. This role requires a keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills to ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting for projects.
*Key Responsibilities:* - Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. - Assess cost-effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops. - Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues. - Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors and negotiating contracts.
*Qualifications:* - Construction Management, or a related field. - Proven experience as an estimator in construction or relevant field. - Strong understanding of construction processes and materials.
*Skills:* - Proficiency in MS Office and estimation software. - Excellent numerical skills and understanding of financial and accounting principles. - Strong organizational and communication skills.
