UCLA Health Title X Health Educator - OBGYN in Los Angeles, California
Description
The Department of OBGYN is seeking to hire Limited Title X Health Educator to provide reproductive health education to patients in the OB/GYN Clinic and in community settings. In conjunction with Program Manager, the Title X Health Educator will develop and maintain relationships with community agencies. Develop, review, and evaluate reproductive health education materials. Conduct outreach activities to disseminate reproductive health resources and program information. Other duties as assigned.
Pay Range: $24.62 - $48.18 hourly.

Required:
Knowledge in reproductive health and/or prevention education.
Sensitivity to diversity.
Knowledge and skills in education and behavior change.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of PC software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with individuals in the community, other professionals, and health center staff.
Available occasional nights and weekends for events, as needed.
Ability to secure reliable form of transportation.
Preferred:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills.
Previous experience in health education (a family planning clinic, women's primary health program, male involvement program or other health education).
