Our Sourcing & Procurement Strategy practice is redefining the future of the Procurement function for our clients across industries. We enable COOs, Chief Procurement Officers and their leadership teams to navigate complex business challenges and drive profitability, resiliency and sustainability from their 3 rd Party relationships. Our mission is to support client’s procurement transformation journey to deliver 360° value for the enterprise through design and implementation of future cost strategies, operating models and leading-edge digital and AI capabilities. As Strategist, we advise and shape Procurement strategies, transformation plans, operating models and capabilities development for our clients. You are:

The work:

As strategic advisors, we work directly with business leaders to:

  • Define their Procurement vision, transformation roadmaps and business case

  • Design and build next-generation operating models and capabilities

  • Embed digital, data, and AI solutions at the core of their procurement functions

  • Accelerate tangible value creation by leading cost & profitability programs across direct, Capex and Indirect spend and interventions across a wide range of levers including strategic sourcing, value engineering and business transformation

  • Help address priority enterprise-wide issues with Supply Chain & Procurement strategies that can be executed with speed and at scale.

As a member of our Sourcing & Procurement Strategy practice you will:

  • Manage small to medium-sized teams with diverse backgrounds, skills, and knowledge.

  • Effectively mentor and coach others, collaborating with internal and external parties.

  • Support client sales origination, business development, and external thought leadership.

  • Drive a positive impact in the communities where we work and live with volunteerism initiatives.

  • Travel, as needed, up to 80%

Here’s what you need:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working on relevant Sourcing & Procurement Transformation and cost optimization initiatives (Strategic Sourcing and Procurement)

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience at a consulting firm or 7 years of internal consulting experience or equivalent role in non-consulting companies

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Bonus points if:

  • You have a deep specialization in procurement or third-party / vendor cost takeout initiatives; direct material optimization (including value analysis/value engineering) or Operating Model transformation

  • You have worked across End-to-End Supply Chain or Procurement transformation programs with a leading role

  • You excel in building and developing relationships, overseeing complex programs, and demonstrating team leadership

  • You’ve earned an MBA or equivalent graduate degree.

  • You have a functional-level understanding of digital and AI solutions in the Supply Chain & Procurement space such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, …

  • You can use the latest data analytics tools to spot opportunities for improvements with prior experience in visualization tools (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and analytics tools (i.e., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)

  • Lean or Six Sigma qualifications.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
