Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity for a meticulous individual to contribute to financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting practices. The role requires expertise in reconciliation, ledger management, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial data accuracy and compliance.

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Manage bank reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring proper documentation and alignment with company policies.

• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with accounting standards.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.

• Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met and reports are accurate.

• Work with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to streamline operations and maintain financial records.

• Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Requirements • Proven experience in account reconciliation and balance sheet management.

• Strong understanding of general ledger operations and journal entries.

• Proficiency in bank reconciliation processes and month-end close procedures.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.

• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

• Strong communication skills for collaborating across departments and presenting financial insights.
