Anastasia Beverly Hills Senior Human Resources Manager in Los Angeles, California
Overview:
The Sr. Manager, Human Resources will be a key partner to ABH corporate and field teams, acting as an advisor to employees at all levels to develop and retain talent. This is a hands on role and you are the go to HR counselor for the organization. You will split your time between benefits administration, HR business partner and employee relations matters.
Responsibilities:
HR Business Partner: collaborate with managers to anticipate and optimize talent to support the overall business objectives. Act as an advisor to employees at all levels throughout the organization. Coach managers on how to manage their direct reports.
Employee Relations: guide employees and managers through employee relations issues and investigations, partner with employment counsel, and make recommendations of next steps.
Benefits administration: implements, administers and maintains benefits programs, policies and procedures. Ensure programs meet employee and ABH’s needs, comply with legal requirements, and are cost effective. Develops employee communications on this topic. Counsels employees on benefits related topics. Lead day to day contact with medical broker.
Employee Development: collaborate with managers to create development plans, identify training opportunities. Assist managers and employees with the performance review process, and other talent initiatives.
Workforce Planning:
Evaluate recommendations for structure improvements ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Manage headcount and compensation costs across your respective departments, in partnership with department leaders.
Identify internal career opportunities for employees.
Recruitment: partner with recruiter and hiring manager in recruitment process to ensure we attract the best talent to ABH.
Onboarding: partner with hiring manager to ensure meaningful onboarding plans are created for all new hires. Support the integration of all new employees to ABH.
Retention: identify and direct recommendations on how to retain talent within ABH.
Performance Plans: monitor performance improvement plans and other disciplinary programs and actions, including coaching and employee terminations.
HR Policies and Programs: ensure compliance and consistency across ABH. Make recommendations on new policies and programs.
HR Projects and Initiatives: collaborate with HR team members on projects and initiatives that will attract, retain and develop talent at ABH.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
Prior HR and/or Talent Management experience of at least 8 years
High degree of knowledge of California employment law and practices
Demonstrated leadership, communication (verbal/written), organization and interpersonal skills
Drive solutions in fast-paced environment
Must have a sense of urgency and results/service orientation with a high degree of flexibility, adaptability and responsiveness; ability to handle fast pace and operate with ambiguity
Able to manage workflow with minimal oversight
Knowledge of HR best practices and trends
Strong listening skills
Ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Entrepreneurial mindset – takes initiative and makes recommendations on process improvement
Able to achieve results with integrity
Compensation – In-depth understanding of policy and concepts, along with ability to articulate same

Anastasia Beverly Hills offers a competitive compensation package with full benefits and a 401(K) plan with matching contributions from the company. The starting base salary range for this position in the selected city is $120,000 - $140,000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and geographical location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role is bonus eligible.
