Management & Training Corporation Property Clerk in Los Angeles, California

Brief Job Description:- Assist with ordering and receiving supplies, tools and replacement items.- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments.- Conduct periodic surveys of the warehouse and other storage areas to check on safety practices and correct hazards.- Assist in monitoring equipment.- Maintain records on all stocked consumable supplies and prepare requisitions to replenish stock accordingly.- Make period checks to ensure all government property is properly tagged with government ID tags or stickers.Education and Experience Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent. One year warehouse or property experience preferred. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.Applicants must pass background check and drug test.Wage: $17.00/hourAbout Los Angeles Job Corps:Job Corps is a no-cost education and career technical training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps young people ages 16 to 24 improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training.
