Under the supervision of the Operations Manager and Clinical Director, the Practice Manager of Radiation Oncology spearheads day-to-day operations and front desk team leadership within the Radiation Oncology and Surgical Oncology departments. Core responsibilities encompass supervising front office staff, offering support to physicians, physician extenders, Integrated Clinic Physicians, and administrative assistants, and ensuring seamless front desk operations including scheduling, registration, insurance, and patient navigation. The Practice Manager fosters effective communication across all levels, nurtures the professional growth of direct reports, and exercises a high level of autonomy in decision-making and complex problem-solving to drive departmental success.

Salary Range: $78,800.00 - $175,000.00 AnnuallyQualifications

Required:

  • Ability to manage patient issues to ensure clinical operations run smoothly while maintaining patient satisfaction

  • Demonstrated supervisory skills including hiring, training, evaluating performance, counseling, initiating corrective action, detecting personnel action, delegating responsibility, and organizing workflow to accomplish established objectives

  • Communicating effectively using medical terminology

  • Understanding various third-party payers and related processes

  • Establishing and maintaining cooperative relationships with staff, physicians, and visitors

  • Utilizing hospital computer systems for appointment scheduling and registration

  • Understanding patient-related policies and procedures and the university system

  • Interacting professionally and compassionately with patients, physicians, and other stakeholders
