Sodexo is seeking a Patient Services Manager 2 for Children's Hospital LA, a very large, pretigous pediatric medical center.
In order to meet the minimum qualifications for this position you must be an RD (Registered Dietitian).

Sodexo is currently seeking a Patient Service Manger 2 to join our healthcare team in the greater Los Angeles area. The PSM 2 will report directly to the General Manager, and will oversee and direct the At Your Request Room Service program (AYR) and tray line at this healthcare center. Person should have knowledge and experience with Sodexo Health Touch; Get Well System; Service Depot; CaterTrax; Sodexo National patient menus and Sodexo Brands/Wellness programs. This position will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of meals, nourishments, and snacks to patients as well as making sure that proper policy and procedure is being followed. The Patient Services Manager will oversee a team of 25-30 patient services employees and will work to coordinate all patient services responsibilities and ensure that all tasks are being completed in a timely and accurate manner. This position will be responsible for continuous process quality improvement, as well as managing and reporting costs against budget. Management expertise in achieving KPI targets and oversight of client iReports. This position will ensure that employees demonstrate an active customer hospitality character towards both clients and customers and work to provide the highest level of customer and client satisfaction. The Patient Services Manager will partner effectively with the food operations and dietetics team at this location.
The ideal candidate will have a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, preferably in the healthcare industry. Ideally candidates will have the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a continuous quality improvement environment. The ideal candidate will have room service experience and will be very familiar with regulatory compliance guidelines, specifically Title 22, and Joint Commission regulations. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast paced work environment and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
The ideal candidate must have a RD (Registered Dietitian) designation and be ServSafe certified. The ability to communicate in Spanish would be helpful in managing the workforce.
Provides direction for patient meal services at patient care units to ensure customer satisfaction and retention for the Company.
Directs daily operations of patient meal services at patient care units to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.
Supervises day-today work activities by delegating authority, assigning, scheduling, and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.
Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to employees.
Performs audits and prepares reports.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
