JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
1 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in outpaitnet; prefer 2 years as MA in Orthopedics setting
CPR/BLS through the AHA
Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program OR national certification (AAMA, AMCA, AMT, CCBMA, MMCI).
Exprience with wound care and cast care
Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture
Preferred: Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans
