Insight Global Labor and Employment/Litigation Attorney in Los Angeles, California

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Labor and Employment/Litigation Attorney for a law firm based in Los Angeles, California. The attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients on employment law issues, as well as representing clients in litigation, arbitration, and administrative proceedings. Some detailed responsibilities below:

  • Represent clients in litigation and administrative proceedings, including court hearings, arbitrations, state and federal administrative hearings, and mediations

  • Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on developments in labor and employment law

  • Draft and revise workplace policies, conduct employee trainings, and provide day-today advice and counsel to employers

  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to provide comprehensive legal services to clients

  • Draft and review employment-related documents, including employment contracts, severance agreements, and employee handbooks

Skills and Requirements

- Strong background in California employment law, including experience with wage and hour laws, discrimination and harassment claims, employment contracts, class and PAGA actions, and other related matters.

- Minimum 1-3 years of experience practicing employment law in California

- Possession of a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.

- Additional licensure or education, such as LLM, MBA, or CPA is helpful

- Membership in good standing in the California State Bar

- Must comply with MCLE requirements

- Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and handle a high-volume caseload

- Experience representing clients in litigation and administrative proceedings preferred null
