Hospitality Service Specialist

POSITION PARAMETERS

Location: Onsite – Los Angeles, CA (333 S. Grand Avenue)

Pay Rate: $22.00-$25.00/ (25.00/hr) hr

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)

Start Date: ASAP

Adecco is seeking a Hospitality Service Specialist to join our client, a global leader in class action administration and mass tort managed services, located in Los Angeles, California. If you are passionate about hospitality and excel in customer service, we invite you to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Reception:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors; greet, announce, and direct them.

  • Answer calls, direct traffic, and take messages.

  • Maintain reception area organization and perform administrative tasks.

  • Act as a liaison between the firm and building management; assist with office moves and maintenance.

  • Take verbal instructions and notes to handle client service requests accurately.

Hospitality Services:

  • Coordinate conference rooms, common areas, and kitchens; manage meeting room setups and food/beverage orders.

  • Inspect and stock rooms, manage kitchen supplies, and maintain inventory.

  • Perform cleaning, dusting, and other incidental tasks.

  • Follow guidelines for receiving, documenting, organizing, and distributing kitchen supplies.

  • Ensure timely setup of meeting rooms according to Epiq's standards and client instructions.

  • Provide immediate attention to customers entering the kitchen area.

  • Monitor and listen to customers to understand inquiries and requests, providing prompt assistance with meeting room setup and cleanup.

Floor Coordination:

  • Organize and maintain satellite copy rooms; stock supplies and maintain copiers.

  • Handle pick-up and delivery of mail/parcels and manage copy, print, and scan projects.

  • Perform walk-throughs of various floors to ensure all rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for the next meeting.

REQUIREMENTS :

Soft Skills:

  • Personable, articulate, knowledgeable, and professional demeanor.

  • Quick learner with flexibility for managing multiple projects.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle complaints with patience, tact, and diplomacy.

  • Proficient reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.

  • Visual acuity and manual dexterity for operating office equipment.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift or move items weighing 40 lbs. or more.

  • Fine and gross motor skills for moving packages ( up to 100 lbs ).

  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, or sit for extended periods.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum 1 year of professional work experience.

  • Previous experience in a client service-oriented field.

  • Willingness and ability to learn new skills.

  • Minimum 6 months of customer service, hospitality, or housekeeping experience.

Additional Details:

  • Interview Process : Step interview with the Hiring Manager via Teams, with a potential meeting with the site manager.

  • Notes for Candidates : Experience in Front of House roles within restaurants, hotels, or the hospitality industry is highly preferred.

  • Background Check : Completion of background checks is required prior to employment.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
