The annual base salary for this position ranges from $175,700.00 in our lowest geographic market to $415,400.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

Who We Are Looking For

Nike Global Brand Planning & Operations is seeking a Brand Commercial studio leader to drive the growth and transformation of our Icon global studio network. This is a rare opportunity for a recognized leader in studio operations, photography/video production, and creative strategy to oversee a world-class imaging studio and content production ecosystem that fuels Nike’s commercial brand product imaging at scale.

The ideal candidate is an innovative and strategic thinker with a deep understanding of both the creative and business demands of large-scale content production. This individual must have a proven ability to balance efficiency, scalability, brand distinction, and commercial payoff ensuring that the studio’s output remains best-in-class while operating at the speed and complexity of a global enterprise. This role requires expertise in studio management, high-volume asset production, financial stewardship, team leadership, and emerging imaging technologies to shape the future of how Nike content is created and delivered across all digital touch points, including owned, paid, and partner platforms.

What You Will Work On

As Senior Director of Icon Studios, Global, you will oversee the strategic direction and execution of Nike’s global studio network, ensuring that our content production ecosystem is optimized for scale, quality, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for end-to-end studio operations across three facilities, driving process innovation and ensuring that all creative production efforts align with Nike’s evolving brand and business needs.

A key focus of this role will be overseeing the studio budget that supports Nike’s expansive content demands. You will be responsible for optimizing resource allocation, managing financial performance, and identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies without compromising creative integrity. You will also lead new imaging processes and workflow advancements, ensuring that Nike’s content production capabilities remain at the forefront of industry innovation.

Beyond the studio walls, you will drive deep integration with Nike’s broader marketing and commerce ecosystem, ensuring that the content produced serves the needs of Nike Direct, Partners, Retail, Brand Creative, and Digital Marketing teams. This includes aligning production strategies with key brand initiatives, seasonal campaigns, and performance marketing efforts, ensuring that Icon’s studio operations and deliverables are both creatively compelling and business driven. Additionally, you will partner closely with Marketing Technology and Finance teams to evolve Nike’s imaging tools, and creative production infrastructure, leveraging data, automation, and emerging technologies to drive efficiency, enhance workflows, and future-proof our content operations.

Who You Will Work With

This role operates at the intersection of creative, marketing, technology, and business operations, requiring deep collaboration with key stakeholders across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that content aligns with omni-channel commerce strategies, driving seamless consumer experiences across digital placements. You will also partner with brand creative and marketing teams, ensuring that all studio production efforts support Nike’s brand initiatives while delivering premium content at scale.

Additionally, you will work in close partnership with Nike’s global digital, paid media, and performance marketing teams, ensuring that creative assets are optimized for impact across all platforms. Given the complexity and scale of Nike’s creative operations, collaboration with marketing technology and finance leaders will be critical. You will play a key role in evolving Nike’s systems, integrating new tools that enhance speed, efficiency, and asset optimization.

Internally, you will lead a large, globally distributed team of imaging, logistics, planning, production, and post-production experts, ensuring that Nike’s Icon studio operations function as a high-performing, future-forward organization. As a leader of leaders, you will be responsible for developing top-tier talent, and fostering a culture of innovation and creative excellence across the entire studio network.

What You Bring

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Photography, Design or related field, or combination of relevant education and experience.

• 10+ years of experience in studio operations and digital imaging, with expertise in large-scale content production across photography and video with a focus on Brand Commercial.

• Management of multiple distributed teams providing leadership, inspiration, mentorship, support and direction

• Deep technical knowledge of the digital imaging industry, including emerging trends, tools, and production best practices.

• Proven ability to manage large P&L budgets and make data-driven business decisions that balance efficiency with creative excellence.

• Experience in enterprise-level process optimization to scale content production while maintaining brand distinction, consistency and quality.

• A future-focused mindset, with the ability to anticipate industry shifts and position Nike at the forefront of content creation.
