KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and coordinate activities as directed from a clinical perspective for Clinical Implementation team in Hospital Division technology for automated intravenous drug compounding.

Provide subject matter expertise in compounding pharmacy (sterile intravenous compounding and aseptic technique, cleanrooms and pharmacy workflow) in support for proper product implementation, profitability, market expansion and customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with Engineering Manager, Project Implementation Manager and General Manager as required to define and implement development plans for Hospital Division technologies.

Work with Engineering Manager, Project Implementation Manager and Clinical Implementation team for assigned projects, to coordinate and schedule complete installation of Hospital Division products at customer sites, to achieve optimal system functionality.

Supervise Clinical Implementation Specialists as required.

Contribute to develop and improve training tools and clinical documentation, to support customer training on use of systems, and to identify and develop potential improvements to Hospital Division products at customer site.

Communicate with pharmacy leaders and clinicians as required.

Follow up with Clinical Specialist and customers to ensure proper product usage, efficacy and performance of the system, and leverage customer satisfaction.

Contribute to the development of product-based training materials, clinical documentation, other initiatives in collaboration with Clinical Specialists, Engineering Manager, Project Implementation Manager and Marketing Director.

Coordinate development and maintenance of necessary documentation for best clinical comprehension of systems.

Work with Sales & Marketing Directors and support the Hospital Division Sales network as requested on specific product demonstrations via WebEx or at customer site when deep clinical and operational knowledge and expertise is necessary.

In coordination with Hospital Division Engineering Manager, National Sales Director and Clinical Specialists, coordinate support of products' clinical and operational activities, taking advantage of available resources and analyzing customer requirements and suggestions, to improve product design and functionality.

Work collaboratively with key partners at Kiro-Grifols to acquire, coordinate and transmit clinical knowledge and expertise associated with development of Kiro products as key part of USA commercial strategy.

Coordinate along with Clinical Specialist team the products' clinical support and training to field Service Engineers / Call Center. T

ravel to customer sites, healthcare conferences, or professional meetings as required to build and support customer relationships, deliver presentations and promote company products and services.

Work with customer to optimize pharmacy workflow with the use of an automated sterile compounding device in a 503A pharmacy.

Perform analysis of customer site and assess regulatory compliance and adherence to USP 797 and USP 800 practice and quality standards.

Work weekends and/or varied work hours as required, depending on pharmacy needs.

Answer technical and service questions in on-call status when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must have a Doctor of Pharmacy or directly related pharmacy degree and minimum 3 years of clinical experience in sterile intravenous compounding and aseptic technique, with demonstrated deep understanding, knowledge and experience in cleanrooms and pharmacy workflow.

Must have applied knowledge and experience in USP 797 and USP 800 practice and quality standards; statutory and regulatory requirements for compliance in 503A compounding pharmacy; communicating with pharmacy leaders and clinicians; and providing oversight and training for pharmacy technicians.

Must have demonstrated success fostering customer relationships, representing company, delivering product specific presentations.

Must work weekends and/or varied work hours as required, and travel 50% to customer sites, healthcare conferences and professional meetings.
