Summary/Objective

SKYLINE is currently seeking an experienced and innovative Project Manager who can work effectively on multiple projects in a highly collaborative and fast paced environment, and has the ability to meet goals and deliver a quality end product within the established project timeline and costs associated.

The ideal candidate requires a decisive individual who will hold him/her self and others accountable, all while demonstrating dedication to safety and quality, to maintain a strong customer relationship and client satisfaction.

Essential Functions :

  • Define pre-construction requirements and collaborate with Business Development to establish project deliverables and target metrics.

  • Successfully manage all on-site particulars from project commencement to demobilization.

  • Track, forecast and control production schedule, project quantities and milestones.

  • Oversee the overall workmanship and performance of all trades, vendors and subcontractors.

  • Track and manage all project finances, contractual obligations and subcontract agreements to ensure compliance and profitability.

  • Implement safety and quality audits to meet and exceed corporate and client expectations.

  • Generate internal and external project reporting.

  • Manage and mentor project staff to maximize job performance and career potential.

  • Enhance Architect, Engineer, Customer and Vendor relations.

  • Provide leadership to foster an environment of diversity and inclusion.

    Education, Experience & Competencies

  • 8+ years of experience working in a Project Management role in building restoration.

  • In depth knowledge of the NYC construction market and NYC DOB Codes.

  • Expertise in façade repair, roof replacement, waterproofing, concrete repair and sidewalk vault restoration on residential, commercial and institutional projects.

  • Proven experience in landmark and historic preservation a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and successfully complete complex multi-million dollar projects.

  • Advanced knowledge of production processes, means and methods, compliance, site safety and on-site requirements.

  • Strong leadership skills to effectively oversee and mentor Project Superintendents, Foremen and Field Crews.

  • Excellent financial, job cost accounting and time management skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Skilled in conflict and crisis management.

  • Proficient with CRM systems (Sage 300CRE, Procore, On-Screen Take Off), Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project and/or other comparable software.

    Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office and jobsite setting. The position requires extensive client interfacing and requires rotation between remote and physical work environment. This position uses standard office equipment.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to maintain a stationary position, ascend/descend and traverse. The position also requires frequent use of computers and other office productivity machinery. At times, duties may involve transporting items of appx. 25 pounds and working around outdoor weather conditions. The position is expected to require prolonged periods of communication, perceiving, and expressing oneself.

80% local travel is expected for this position.
