The initial contract for this position is scheduled to run for 4 months with potential to extend further based on business needs.

To be successful in this role the People & Culture Payroll Specialist will collabo

rate with their Service and Experience peers, Executive Business Partners, and Centers of Expertise (COE) to deliver payroll and benefits administration services to our Americas region. This will involve the timely and accurate payroll processing, the administration of benefits as determined by the Total Reward COE in line with all Cochlear and external body policy and process obligations.

Additionally, this role will ensure all input to the People & Culture systems are compliant to local statutory payroll requirements. This role will be a point of escalation for all complex payroll queries and problem resolution. This role will have a matrix reporting line to the Director, P&C Service & Experience (Americas).

Key Responsibilities Management of the overall end to end payroll processes. Administration and communication of employee benefit programs including annual enrollment. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements regarding payments and administration of benefits. Payroll vendor relationship management support and system maintenance.

Key Requirements

To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience in your application and at interview: Bachelors or Equivalent Work Experience 5-7+ Years of Experience within Payroll, Benefits Administration and Human Resources Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred Previous experience managing Human Resources Information Systems (Oracle and ADP are ideal)

Salary Target Salary Range: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour. Compensation offered to candidate may vary based on work experience, education and/or skill level. This role is not eligible for benefits.
