While working with key business partners to understand business priorities, you'll identify strategic initiatives, develop effective and timely analytical solutions, provide recommendations on effective technologies and estimates for level of effort to implement analytics solutions and reporting platforms to drive growth and business improvement. Additionally, you will manage the analytics team to implement, integrate, administrator, and enhance data and analytics solutions within the organization while consistently achieving quality, system performance, cost, and on time delivery metrics. You'll be responsible to lead your team, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, mentoring, and disciplinary actions, as well as organize, determine, and accomplish department goals, set project deadlines, oversee regular department staff meetings, and maintain constant communication through regular feedback to the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of a robust and sustainable analytics environment to support data driven decision-making.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with various teams to understand business goals and how data can support these objectives.

  • Oversee the installation, configuration, deployment, maintenance, and performance tuning of the Analytics/Business Intelligence environments.

  • Work with key business partners to understand business priorities, you'll identify strategic initiatives, develop effective and timely analytical solutions, provide recommendations on effective technologies and estimates for level of effort to implement analytics solutions and reporting platforms to drive growth and business improvement.

  • Manage the analytics team to implement, integrate, administrator, and enhance data and analytics solutions within the organization while consistently achieving quality, system performance, cost, and on time delivery metrics.

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business, or Mathematics related discipline (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience managing Analytics/Business Intelligence systems

  • Extensive knowledge of Analytics/Business Intelligence tool architectures, functions, features, and customization options and implementations at multi-billion dollar companies

  • Experience in data modeling, especially with SQL Server Analysis Service Knowledge of relational databases and multidimensional designs, especially with t-SQL

Preferred:

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience

  • Knowledge of cloud-based data architectures and platforms, especially Microsoft Azure and utilization of cloud services in hybrid environments Experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and predictive/prescriptive analytics

  • High level of data literacy

  • Ability to drive decision making through analytical insights

  • Excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and very detail-oriented

  • Strong technical leadership and project management skills including the ability to manage, influence, and develop technical personnel in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and relate to non-technical users in user-friendly language. Keen interest in solving business problems and implementing well architected, scalable, and extensible solutions

  • Ability to work well with others, harness different skills and experience, and build a strong team

  • Ability to function effectively in a fast paced, team-oriented work environment, and flexibility to quickly adapt to change

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $104,827.91 - $144,138.38. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
