Aerotek Diagnostics Engineering in London, Ontario

Our Client, a large military manufacturing company in London, ON is seeking multiple Diagnostics Engineering individuals to join their team on a long-term contract basis.


• Supports development and/or documentation of critical maintenance data

• Analysis of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical system functionality to determine most efficient troubleshooting methodology (perform Fault Tree Analysis and/or Failure Mode Effect Analysis of system/component)

• Support development of fault insertion tools and non-destructive faults for use in validation of troubleshooting procedures

• Maintain the configuration and revision of the data in the database as well as all supporting documents

• Proactively support and communicate with other Engineering teams and departments

• Assist with aftermarket support requests

• Attend fit-ups as required

• Write or support clear, step-by-step fault location instructions describing how to determine which vehicle system components or assemblies require repair or replacement

• Referencing previously written material, engineering drawings and models; schematics

• Working with Illustrators to ensure written instructions include appropriate graphics

• Working with Edit and Validation personnel to ensure final product meets customer expectations

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Logistic Support Analysis Record (LSAR) development

• Experience with XML, Coding or VBA/Macro development

• Experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, or assembly/disassembly of electrical and mechanical systems

• Experience with Military Standards, Technical Writing or Illustrating.

• Education specific to Engineering or Engineering Technology

• University Degree or College Diploma in a technical discipline

• 0 to 3 years relevant experience
