Strategy, Partnership & Alliances Manager/Director

The Role:

Reporting to the Global Head of Sustainability Sales, in this role, you will lead development and execution of partnerships and alliances across SPGMI Sustainability product & solutions working with multiple internal stakeholders and external partners globally. Operating as a key senior individual contributor you will be responsible for

  • Generating, building, developing & maturing commercial relationships for the betterment of SPGMIs sustainability market offering & position and delivering a key pillar for aggressive growth objectives.

  • Driving strategy and execution for commercial partnerships across 3 primary focus areas of design, solution proposition and redistribution partnerships.

  • Liaison with sales, product and strategy plus internal cross business unit and divisional stakeholder engagement.

  • Sustainability content enablement for sales via multi-channel platforms across the organization.

  • Providing input into wider business strategy and future potential acquisition recommendations, in line with long term business goals.

  • Capturing & relaying market and competitive feedback, informing product development feedback process & business strategy.

  • Interpret business vision into development of partnership strategy for scale-up growth, advancing the development of solutions to optimize product offering, address gaps, leverage other businesses such as consultancies, create partnership lead generation and business origination pathways.

  • Review, maintenance and management of existing partnership relationships and agreements.

  • Recrafting/negotiating, amending and origination of new partnerships.

  • Day to day management of partnership and alliances relationships, optimize-mature-reframe relationships in existence, bring life to existing arrangements, protect content leakage & ensure commensurate commercial terms for redistribution, protecting the firm.

  • Work with other SPG partnerships teams including MI, Corporate & S1.

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Deep knowledge and experience of sustainability data, platform and solutions market place, players, end users/buyers, use cases, buying drivers, delivery channels.

  • Experience in the partnerships arena.

  • Sales and negotiations skills.

  • Proven partner relationship management experience.

  • Project management skills plus contract management.

  • Use and knowledge of Salesforce essential.

  • Proven track record in working collaboratively in a matrix environment.
