Role : You are a passionate tester; you take pride in releasing the best possible quality product. You are curious about IT and its inner workings; you get a kick out of figuring out why things happen, and you enjoy fiddling with scripts and settings to make them work the way you want. We are looking for someone who’s skills and intuition always help them to get things done.

Role Responsibilities:

  • As QA Engineer, you are responsible for the various testing activities needed for validating the product.

  • You will have testing ownership on your assigned features, and you might as well be involved in organizing the testing activities for the entire QA team (creating test plans and assigning test cases, providing test reports, monitoring the progress on the features under work).

  • You will work closely with the Development and Product Management teams to deliver a high-quality product to our customers.

  • Your mindset is focused on automation opportunities.

  • To succeed in this role you should be energetic, motivated, and results oriented. You should also be self-directed and disciplined with good technical skills.

Role Purpose:

  • Build, maintain and improve the various testing frameworks we use in our team

  • Work independently or in a small team depending on the assigned tasks

  • Report on the test automation results

Minimum Requirements:

  • Previous Test Automation experience (Selenium preferred)

  • Programming skills (Java, APIs)

  • Previous experience with debugging software (Dev Tools, SQL Profiler, Fiddler)

  • Experience of testing integrations with a good technical grasp of platforms, web services and API’s.

  • Basic knowledge of Database concepts (T-SQL/PL-SQL).

  • Professional experience in testing (minimum 4 years).

Nice to have skills & technologies:

  • Mentoring experience

  • Performance testing experience

  • Experience in Microsoft Windows and SQL Server: configuring, investigating performance and scalability issues.

  • Basic Linux knowledge.

  • Functional testing, End to End (E2E) testing, Regression testing, Grey box testing.

  • Good knowledge of bug lifecycle management and testing process and able to adaptability to the needs of the team.

  • Problem-solving attributes and quick adaptability to changes in a project.

  • Working knowledge of Test management tools (like TFS, JIRA, ALM/Quality Center etc.).

  • Understanding of Microsoft IIS.
