Overview of Department:

The goal of the team is to ensure all resource management processes are robust, and deliver the necessary outcomes for Technology. We achieve this by ensuring that resource data is accurate, complete and available on a timely basis through various reporting deliverables. The team work closely with HR, Finance, Change Management, Procurement and Technology leads to inform and educate, as well as executing changes directly. The team is divided into three main functions, the role in question fits within the Technology Recruitment sub-team.

Resource Data Management

  • Manage cleaning resource data in workday. ​

  • Run training via the new starter induction and creation of org charts on Kizuna. ​

Creation of headcount reporting data monthly / quarterly / annually.​

Technology Recruitment

  • Process all recruitment requests for BAU and Project. Monitoring budget against hiring / replacing / extending staff. ​

  • Creation of recruitment and rate reporting.​

Technology and Change liaison

  • Ensuring all project roles and named individuals are allocated. Leads the Resource Supply / Demand Forum. ​

  • Creation of open role reporting, and allocation reporting.

Overview of Role:

The primary responsibility for this role is processing and reviewing the department’s requests to hire staff, extend temporary and outsourced worker agreements for Technology.

Within this activity there are reports to be created and relationships with key internal and external stake holders within Technology that need to be built, managed and maintained.

You will be accountable and responsible for taking appropriate action with respect to the Company’s and supporting the Resource Management within the Technology Division, including:

  • Responsible for the collation, processing and review of the Technology Division’s requests to hire staff and extend temporary and outsourced worker agreements for Technology.

  • Responsible for ensuring all requests reviewed have had the governance checks completed, challenging the proposed resource targets in line with our headcount targets and financial budgets, identifying and understanding issues, errors or concerns.

  • Creating a weekly reporting pack that will be reviewed by the Head of Technology .

  • Build, maintain and manage relationships with key internal stake holders within Technology and external stake holders within Technology such as HR, Finance, Procurement and Change Management.

  • Continue to drive process improvements within the recruitment approvals process, ensuring a streamlined approach to “recruitment controls” whilst also driving Technology initiatives and targets around cost savings.

  • Step in and help with day-to-day activities when other members of the team are on holiday.

  • Escalating any concerns where applicable to the Head of Resource Management

Relationship with other functions and stakeholders

  • Maintain and enhance good working relationships with stakeholders, across the region and globally to share best practices, provide support and develop effective local policies and procedures appropriate to the Company, and working in support of the One MUFG and overall Group strategy.

  • Attending the monthly Technology department meetings around headcounts, budgets, active recruitment covering any queries from the department

MUFG work with a hybrid working policy with 3 days in the office at Ropemaker Place, London.
