POSITION SUMMARY

Our Lobby Ambassadors take the initiative to deliver a wide range of services that guide guests through their arrival and departure experiences. They are empowered to move about their space and do what needs to be done. Whether processing operational needs, addressing guest requests, completing reports, or sharing the highlights of the local area, the Guest Arrival Expert makes transactions feel like part of the experience by creating lasting connections.

We are now recruiting for an experienced Lobby Ambassador (Luggage Porter) to join our five-star, luxurious lifestyle hotel. What you will do

  • Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing a positive first impression.

  • Provide assistance to guests in managing their luggage as required.

  • Escort guests to their rooms, carrying luggage if required, and providing guidance and information about hotel facilities along the way.

  • Maintain a clean and organised luggage storage area, ensuring luggage is appropriately tagged and stored securely.

  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for additional assistance.

  • Work closely with Concierge Team and Welcome Desk and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Has the ability to prioritise, take ownership and work with minimal supervision.

  • Professional appearance and a neat, well-groomed appearance.

  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • To remember the essence of company values and behave in a way that demonstrates commitment to them.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None
