Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an experienced Imaging/Radiology Manager to lead the team in our Imaging Department.

The manager is responsible for direct reports, effectively delegating appropriately and holding them accountable for the delivery of specific objectives and targets. Facilitate personal and team development, promoting best practices in health & safety, maintaining service quality. Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and effectively manage governance and risk. Oversee audit completion and implement action plans to address findings. Actively support marketing efforts for the imaging service, including attracting Consultants. Embed Clinical Governance and risk management in daily practice.

This position is located in London. Qualified candidates must be eligible to work in the U.K.. Relocation is not provided.

Qualifications

  • BSc degree in diagnostic radiography or diagnostic imaging or equivalent qualification to meet registration requirements.

  • Practicing Radiographer for a minimum of 7 years and at least 2 years as a Manager HCPC Registration.

  • Competency in various diagnostic imaging skills supported by professional knowledge.

  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Governance tools.

  • Knowledge of Human Resource policies, tools and techniques, including interviewing, conducting performance reviews and performance coaching.

  • Proven success in partnering with Consultants to improve services and standards.

  • Financial management skills with a focus on quality care provision.

  • Familiarity with relevant standards and regulatory bodies.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Numerically and literarily adept.

  • Comfortable in a commercial healthcare environment while prioritising safety.

  • Proficient in IT, particularly MS Office suite.

  • Ability to handle challenging situations and individuals with professionalism.

  • Flexible approach to work and schedules.
