Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to come in and play an integral role in the ESG Data & Reporting team and will be responsible for developing institutional ESG reporting solutions as well as ESG data development and oversight. The candidate will collaborate with ESG Investing, Investment teams, Technology, Legal, Client Service and Marketing to drive strategic ESG reporting solutions across client and regulatory initiatives, with the ability to gain meaningful exposure to ESG portfolio analysis and related projects across the asset class spectrum.

Responsibilities

  • Coming up with new processes to improve our current reporting capabilities and being able to deliver extra insights for our internal and external clients

  • Work with stakeholders to deliver on client queries or engagements on cross-team projects

  • Acting as main point of contact on ESG regulatory reporting and responsible for the production of ESG metrics related to ESG regulations (SFDR, EU Taxonomy and TCFD) and associated queries

  • Working with the ESG Investing team and projects teams on implementation of any new frameworks or congoing review and compliance with SFDR and TCFD regulations, including but not limited to the measurement of sustainable investments, trade compliance and risk monitoring

  • Collaborating with investment teams and relationship teams on client engagements related to ESG regulatory impacts (eg SFDR Principal Adverse Impact data and reporting)

  • Working with third-party vendors on data requirements, report automation and data distribution

Requirements :

  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting and direct experience working with European regulators on regulatory frameworks and reporting (MIFID, Solvency II or equivalent)

  • Ability to decompose regulatory requirements into actionable business requirements for the purpose of complying with regulation

  • Familiarity with ESG related legislation (SFDR, TCFD and all ancillary ESG legislation) and a desire to further develop expertise in ESG regulatory compliance

  • Experience with ESG data and/or fixed income portfolio analytics (Aladdin experience preferred)

  • Strong analytical, project management and technical skills; must be proficient in Excel and SQL; experience with Python preferred.

  • 3-5 years of experience in Finance, asset management preferred.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with subject matter experts, mainly ESG investment and technology teams
