As a Snap Engineering team member, you’ll help us build the future of communication.

We’re looking for an Application Engineer at Snap. You should have a thorough understanding of the team’s overall goals and be comfortable collaborating with key stakeholders for various projects and tasks. You should also have an excellent development background, analytical skills, customer-facing communication skills, a solid grasp of finance apps, and have hands-on experience with implementing Web applications at medium to large-scale user base.

What you’ll do:

  • Design & Build highly scalable applications for complex systems and high-quality tools.

  • Provide solutions to improve performance and build metrics for various applications and integrations.

  • Develop and test functionality and rollout of customizations, custom objects, new enhancements, application releases, and system integration based on the business needs.

  • Work with product managers to drive strategic and tactical initiatives.

  • Comply with change management policies to ensure data integrity and system stability.

  • Perform regular data audits and resolve data integrity issues.

  • Provide front-line support to Snap staff.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience with any of the following modern web frameworks (React, Angular, Ember, Backbone.js, Dojo, NodeJS, JQuery, Bootstrap).

  • Senior level experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate.

  • Ability to transform user needs into technical and functional requirements.

  • Technical background and hands-on experience with systems architecture, object-oriented design, web frameworks, and patterns.

  • Expert experience with software development and integration of cloud applications.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • BS/BA in a technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of experience,

  • Experience in developing end to end Enterprise Web Applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MRP, PLM, ERP Finance applications.

  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and MVC architecture.

  • Relational and No-SQL database management.
