What You’ll Do:

The Global Architecture team within News Corporate Services (NCS), the centralised Global Technology function for News Corp, have established a new role to support the Global Architecture team in daily activities, with a particular focus on the management of data quality within our Enterprise Architecture platform, LeanIX. We are in the process of implementing LeanIX, across all News Corp owned business units, to manage their technology estates, support transformation and facilitate key governance processes (e.g. Architecture Review Boards, Design Authorities). LeanIX is currently operational within News Australia, Harper Collins US and more recently New York Post. It is in the process of being implemented at News UK and HarperCollins UK, with work also initiating at Dow Jones and Realtor.com

The Junior Technology Architect will work closely with the Global Architecture team, to ensure data and process requirements, aligned to Global Architecture processes, are being consistently followed, run regular reports and metrics out of LeanIX, work closely with the business units in order to improve and deepen data quality within LeanIX and support LeanIX implementation activities, working with business implementation leads to ensure key milestones are being achieved.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing and assuring the quality of data in our Enterprise Architecture Platform.

  • Supporting activities on the LeanIX program.

  • Creating Global Architecture Artefacts on a regular cadence.

  • Quality assuring Global Architecture process adherence.

  • Reporting on Global Architecture metrics.

  • Creation of Quarterly State of the Nation LeanIX Artefacts, showing the tech estate as it was last quarter vs now (stakeholders for this report to be defined).

  • Creation of Global Architecture metrics for internal review on a fortnightly basis

  • Creation of the LeanIX Roadmap Report on a monthly cadence.

  • Ensure all changes that come through the Architecture Review Board (ARB) process are logged as Initiatives on LeanIX and are accurately updated with correct milestones.

  • Provide support to BUs completing data imports and / or data cleansing.

  • Complete data reconciliation / alignment between LeanIX and Servicenow.

  • Monitor data quality in LeanIX through the Data Completeness Report.

  • Follow up on data quality issues through data completeness report and quality seal.

  • Support user onboarding requests and circulation of onboarding email.

  • Support LeanIX / Servicenow integration analysis.

  • Administer monthly LeanIX User Council - take minutes, schedule meetings, circulate agenda etc.

  • Facilitate LeanIX Roadshows and demos.

  • Curate LeanIX documentation artefacts on the Global Architecture Portal.

  • Assist with managing the Global Architecture training material repository and loading of training materials onto LinkedIn Learning.

  • Keep abreast of vendor changes/updates to LeanIX SaaS platform, communicate updates to the Architecture team.

  • Maintain stakeholder map of LeanIX users and groups within GT/NCS and BUs.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) or 1-2 yrs equivalent work experience

  • Experience of working with data and managing data quality, reporting using metrics.

  • Experience and familiarity with Business Process Analysis and Solution Architectures.

  • Experience of architecture governance processes.

  • Strong background in client engagement and communications.

  • Experience in using EA tools to manage, model and visualize technology estates.

  • Excellent technical, analytical, and self-management skills - ability to work independently.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - the ability to build and maintain relationships across the organization.

  • Detail oriented.

  • Self-starter.

Location: London

Working Arrangement: Hybrid in office 3 days per week
