Emerson Maintenance Engineer in Lodz, Poland

Job Description:

This role is part of the Maintenance Team, reports to the Maintenance Manager Administration & Management and is based on-site in Lodz, Lodz Province, Poland.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Performing machine inspections in accordance with the documentation such as: changing filters, oils, cleaning the machine, checking electrical circuits, some adjustments and setting parameters,

  • Setting up and connecting new machines and after internal relocation.

  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools and production machines

  • Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information

  • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation and using precision measuring and testing instruments.

  • Anticipating needed equipment, spare parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment.

  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and protocols.

  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve productivity.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Hold a SEP (Association of Polish Electrical) up to 1kV

  • Education: minimum Technical High School graduate

  • Minimum 2 years in the field of mechanics / automation in Maintenance Department, diagnosing, removing minor faults and failures and repairing entrusted machines and devices, analysis of the causes of failures and introduction of preventive measures,

  • Ability to read technical diagrams and drawings, operating instructions, manufacturer's recommendations and technical specifications, effective communication and searching for solutions, practical knowledge of issues related to mechanics, pneumatics, electronics

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Permissions for a self-propelled basket lift, for work at height.

  • Practical knowledge of Siemens, Fatec controllers will be an additional asset,

  • Ability to handle several tasks and balance multiple priorities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and analytical skills.
