Siemens Mobility Limited is looking for a Training and Development Specialist to join us a Location Independent Worker. Please note that you are expected to travel to Siemens and Customer sites in this role.

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Being responsible for both railway application networking and preparing of network candidates for CCNA level certification.

  • Being accountable for all aspects of the network training provision, leading the development, preparation, implementation and follow up for all technical, safety and operational training for the network area.

  • Being responsible for the creation of new course material, the update of existing material and developing requirement and story boards for e-learning. Covering.   • Developing the strategy needed to grow the Network Training portfolio in line with the requirements to develop the internal and external offering as well as driving training services forward using the technology and modern training techniques.

  • Work with the relevant professional groups / departments across business to carry out technical assessments for grading reviews / promotions etc.

  • Collaborating with internal Siemens and external customers to identify and deliver the training requirements for their area of responsibility.

Your Success will be grounded by:

  • Degree qualified or extensive network industry exposure

  • Experience in networks and CISCO course delivery

  • Ability to write and review course material.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with customers at all levels.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Able to work on own initiative as part of a virtual team.

  • CIPD Training and Development qualification or equivalent experience

It would be advantageous to have:

  • Be able to teach up to the level of CCNA voice.

  • High level CICSCO certifications; VM ware, Microsoft operating system including active directory.

  • Has experience in an industry with high levels of regulation and compliance.

  • Has experience with industrial / control system networks / applications.
