Do you want to help us take our digital solutions that impact the daily work of installers and design engineers across the world one step forward? Then you might be our new Full Stack Developer.

Danfoss Climate Solutions is looking for a Full Stack Developer that is motivated by building and maintaining industry leading digital solutions.

Digital Transformation is our key focus in the coming years where we will invest in designing the best-in-class customer experience. You will be a key asset for some of the most successful and commonly used apps in the industry and the key person to ensure that we provide the best experience to our customers as well as help us figure out what are the key next steps to take.

The team has a proven track record of developing and maintaining two significant mobile applications, Ref Tools and Installer App, which are tailored for cooling and heating installers. These applications have garnered more than 350,000 active HVAC installers globally each month (over 1M unique yearly), demonstrating their widespread success and acceptance. Beyond these applications, our efforts have extended to creating a variety of product selection tools. These range from straightforward selectors to sophisticated, application-specific solutions. Moving forward, our focus will shift towards advancing these product selection tools within Danfoss Climate Solutions and exploring several AI initiatives. Leveraging a modular codebase, our applications are designed for cross-platform deployment, setting the stage for future innovation and adaptability.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will work both with your individual tasks and responsibilities as well as with contributing to the overall architecture and direction of our digital tools. The position requires a collaborative and flexible approach, as you will be working a lot in cross-functional teams with product owners, developers, external partners and other stakeholders to understand and deliver industry-leading digital solutions.

Overall responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement full stack solutions using React and Next.js.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions that align with business goals.

  • Actively participate in the whole development process, from initial design up to launching the product.

  • Be responsible for working with product owners and designers to design, develop and deliver features.

  • Perform testing of own code, keep the code coverage on defined level, perform smoke testing when needed to ensure high quality of the product.

  • Work within a team of developers to complete proposed initiatives, contributing application architecture and implementation guidance.

  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks.

  • Follow and contribute to agile development processes.

Background & Skills

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer who can demonstrate their experience in developing and deploying complex back-end systems. Formal education is not a requirement, but we value a strong understanding of software engineering principles and proven experience in building scalable, high-performance, and reliable back-end architectures. The ideal candidate should be able to think strategically and understand the broader picture of the project. We expect our Full Stack Developer to collaborate with the team, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor junior developers.

  • Production experience in C#.

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with TypeScript.

  • Full stack engineering experience, with strong systems fundamentals.

  • Knowledge of RESTful services and APIs.

  • Experience working with service-oriented architecture and solutions with complex business logic.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to test own code and keep the quality of the product on high level.

  • Experience working with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and build thoughtful solutions.

It is a plus if you have any experience in these areas:

  • JavaScript frameworks/libraries like ReactJS or Vue.

  • Xamarin or MAUI.

  • Implementing LLMs for various business use-cases.

  • Azure Devops + pipelines.

  • Azure cloud services.

  • IaC - Pulumi.

On a personal level, you can focus on the important details while maintaining a holistic view. You like to learn and have the ability to understand very complex situations and digital ecosystems. Last but not least, you are a strong communicator and proficient in English, both verbally and in writing.
