POSITION PURPOSE

This position is remote and will require travel throughout the US.

Trinity Health is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and strategic Vice President for its Ambulatory Imaging segment within the Community Division. This executive-level position will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight to the ambulatory imaging centers across Trinity Health's national footprint, as well as building the ambulatory imaging segment at Trinity Health. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving growth, delivering operational excellence, implementing innovative strategies to advance the segment’s performance, and assessing opportunities in existing markets to develop, partner with or acquire well-run, well-located ambulatory imaging centers while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Strategic Leadership and Vision : Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for ambulatory imaging within the community division that aligns with Trinity Health's mission, vision, and values. Identify and pursue growth opportunities to expand the segment, including new service lines, partnerships, and market entry strategies. Assess opportunities in existing markets and develop well-run, well-located ambulatory imaging centers that support the overall organizational strategy. Collaborate with RHM leadership to ensure ambulatory imaging initiatives are integrated with overall organizational priorities and objectives.

Business Development and Market Analysis : Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for expanding the ambulatory imaging footprint and services within existing markets, including existing locations and de novo ambulatory imaging centers. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, RHM leadership and imaging groups and physicians, to facilitate the growth of the ambulatory imaging segment. In conjunction with existing radiology partners, lead efforts to drive continued growth in the ambulatory imaging space in Trinity Health markets, inclusive of potential partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions that align with the division's strategic objectives and growth targets.

Operations Management and Performance Improvement : Oversee the operations of all ambulatory imaging centers within the segment, ensuring that they are functioning efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Implement and monitor key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement in clinical quality, patient experience, and financial performance. Establish and maintain best practices and standard operating procedures for the segment to achieve operational excellence. In conjunction with the Director of the Trinity Health Radiology FIND program, oversee Trinity Health’s national program around appropriate surveillance of worrisome findings on advanced imaging modalities. Partnering with key administrative and support services (e.g. TIS, supply chain) to ensure operational and financial goals are achieved.

Financial Management and Revenue Optimization : In partnership with RHM teams and finance, develop and manage the segment’s budgets, ensuring financial stability and profitability. Implement strategies to optimize revenue, including payer contracting, pricing strategies, and cost management initiatives. Collaborate with finance teams to monitor financial performance and provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making.

Compliance and Risk Management : Ensure compliance with all accreditation standards across the ambulatory imaging segment of the community division. Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize liability exposure and ensure patient safety. Collaborate with legal, compliance, IRMS, and clinical teams to ensure ongoing adherence to all applicable regulations and standards.

Talent Management and Workforce Development : Build and lead a high-performing team of ambulatory imaging colleagues across the Ministry, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Implement talent development strategies to attract, retain, and develop the best talent in the industry. Provide mentorship and coaching to division leaders, supporting their professional growth and development.

Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, with at least 5 years in ambulatory imaging operations and business development.

Proven track record of driving growth, improving operational performance, and achieving financial targets in an ambulatory imaging setting.

In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and industry best practices.

Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills. Significant experience working with physicians and physician partnerships.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Must be able to adapt to frequently changing work priorities.

Must be able to travel as needed to the various Trinity Health sites.
