Accountable for leading, guiding, and directing the Trinity Health ministry or enterprise functional responsibilities. Enable ministry-level or enterprise-wide functional strategy to address internal or external business & regulatory issues; provide functional expertise and ensure fulfillment of performance and service standards. Responsible for consistent operating performance and achieving financial goals. Identifies, defines & solves complex problems that impact the management & direction of the business; Collaborates with System Services Areas, Regions, and Health Ministries to ensure consistency and integration of strategy and operations. Maintaining awareness of new industry developments and standards. Provides decision support, operations &/or optimization leadership focus.

Leadership

• Providing advice, guidance, and leadership to RHM and Region leaders in developing strategies and in the achievement of performance goals.

• Enable Collaboration across and within System Services area, RHM, and Regions to ensure consistency and integration of strategy and operations

Direction and Growth

• Providing advice, guidance, and leadership to System Services functional area, RHM, and Regions.

• Leading standardization/systemness and optimization of policy, process, and methodology, establishing a national community of practice

• Oversee Vendor/Contract Labor Management including centralizing strategy and optimizing spend

Strategic Support & Accountability

• Collaborates in system-wide strategy development and deployment of functional area priorities and initiatives

• Responsible for supporting regional efforts to comply with functional area priorities

• Accountable for the selection, evaluation, and overall success of the functional leadership teams

• Organization-wide focal point for establishing functional strategies and governance over financials and staffing

• Accountable for communication between System Services area, RHM, and Regions leader

Operational Delivery

• Responsible for measuring and reporting KPIs/metrics and value delivery

• Providing advice, guidance, and leadership for the colleague’s life cycle

Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, state & local laws/regulations, Trinity Health Integrity & Compliance Program & Code of Conduct, as well as other policies & procedures and guidelines in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical & professional behavior and safe work practices.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s level degree in business, health administration, or a related field, a law degree, or an equivalent combination of education & experience.

Minimum of five 5 years of relevant experience with increasing levels of responsibility in health care compliance &/or consulting including regulatory compliance, program metrics, performance assessment, & reporting outcomes, etc.

Must possess a thorough understanding and knowledge of health care legal and regulatory practices, financial and internal control systems/procedures.

Previous supervisory/leadership experience.

Hourly payrate ranges: $45.40 - $68.09

Additional Qualifications (nice to have)

Experience within a health care organization (including ambulatory and hospital settings) or equivalent work experience involving clinical documentation and coding reviews and working knowledge of Medicare and third- party payer regulations. Must understand and have expertise with Patient Driven Payment Models, Patient Driven Groupings Models, IRF-PAI and OASIS requirements. Comprehensive understanding of Medicare Physician Fee Schedule and Medicare Claims Processing Manual for professional services is required.
