Job Title: Software Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of C++ programming experience and a strong background in Linux OS. The role involves design, development, and unit testing, with a specific focus on signal processing. Responsibilities include software maintenance, analyzing and troubleshooting problem reports from fielded systems, incorporating software fixes into the existing software baseline, unit testing, performing software integration, and software testing.

This role is based in Syracuse, NY, on a large campus with secured areas. The site hosts approximately 1600 people, with over 700 in the Engineering department. The Software Group in Syracuse supports all four business lines of Rotary Missions & Systems (RMS). The work schedule consists of four 10-hour days with Fridays off, and offers flexibility as long as the consultant is available during core business hours (9-3pm).
