Insight Global Project Manager in Livermore, California

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a detail-oriented Project Manager to join our client's team in Northern California. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a project manager in wastewater or wastewater treatment plants. They will be working closely with the Project Engineer and Superintendent. They will be responsible for helping with the project kick off, project execution, and project closeout. They will be spending 2 days a week in the office and the other 3 days at the jobsites. They should have good communication skills and time management skills as they will be managing multiple projects at a time.

Project Kick Off

  • Budgets & Phase Codes setup

  • Project plans & submittals creation

  • POs & subcontracts negotiation

  • Bill of Materials creation

  • Preconstruction meeting conduct

Project Execution

Manages multiple projects, ensuring safety, and efficiency.

Oversees project direction, planning, and decision-making.

Collaborates with Superintendent for on-site staffing and discipline.

Builds a competent project team for successful completion and future capacity.

Monitors budgets, maintains schedules, and oversees billing to ensure profitability.

Handles submittals, RFIs, PCOs, COs, subcontractor calculations, and correspondence.

Manages purchasing, invoicing, notifications for compliance, and material logistics.

Project Closeout

Ensures project closeout, including documentation and retention collection.

Completes internal closeout paperwork.

Skills and Requirements

6+ years of experience in construction project management

1+ year of proven project management experience in wastewater

Different from piping

Bachelor's degree that is related to Construction Management or Water Resource Management or Engineering

Valid driver's license

Willingness to travel Experience with Bluebeam or Procore or Primavera 6 (P6) null
