The Role:
Are you a qualified finance professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for supporting business operations? We’re looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our dynamic team, working closely with our Sponsorship operational teams across ANZ to provide accounting, financial, and analytical support.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of key month-end tasks, assist with forecasting and budgeting, and play a pivotal role in driving financial insights. You’ll also support internal stakeholders with accounting advice and ensure robust financial processes are maintained across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
Month End
Prepare month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations
Deliver accurate P&L reporting and variance analysis against forecast
Forecasting & Budgeting
Prepare monthly P&L forecasts and annual budgets, including uploads into Oracle
Compile detailed forecast/budget packs
Prepare and monitor cash flow projections
Other Duties
AR aging analysis
Prepare and lodge GST reconciliations
Support internal and external audit queries
Project setup and reconciliation
Provide day-to-day financial support and systems advice to the Sponsorship operational team
Complete ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required
Required Skills and Experience:
CA or CPA qualified
Demonstrated experience in accounting and reporting, ideally within a large corporate environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with stakeholders across ANZ
Excellent time management with the ability to work autonomously
Advanced Excel and data management skills
Experience with Oracle and/or BPC is a plus, but not essential
