ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Become an inventory subject matter expert for inventory processes and data requirements within SAP, our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Work with inventory sites to manage perpetual and periodic inventory supply item additions/removals, stocking levels, reorder points, safety stock, and sourcing.
Build, schedule, and assist with periodic cycle counts of supplies within perpetual inventory. Assist to resolve and investigate root causes for all discrepancies between electronic and physical counts.
Research and promptly resolve purchase order, receiving, and invoice matching issues.
Extract ERP data for analysis, strategic planning, and execution of project plans.
Review and report product recalls, identifying and sequestering affected product, managing inventory removal, and coordinating product return or exchange.
Responsible for Materials Management's involvement in key charge capture processes.
Actively participate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve requisitioning/purchasing processes.
Coordinate the use of SAP, bar code scanning technology, etc. across all inventory sites. Provide support for minor technology interruptions, coordinating with supply chain and information systems partners as needed.
Train on-site staff to use scanning technology to perform inventory tasks.
Assist in the development or modification of processes to promote best practices and standardization of effort.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Be able to backup other department positions in times of need.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Highschool diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of inventory management experience.

Highly repetitive type of work which requires concentration in the performance of tasks for consistent time cycles as prescribed by the tasks.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Use of an ERP software system to the level where you can start to troubleshoot process characteristics.
Effective communication and influencing skills, both written and oral, with the ability to share information and ideas clearly and concisely with a range of audiences.
Proficient in database development/management.
Medium exposure to process improvement methodologies.
Valid driver's license with clean record.
