Position Overview
Cromwell Architects Engineers is seeking a Licensed Architect for our new regional expansion in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience. Design experience in industrial/manufacturingand/or US Federal Government facilities is preferred.\ Must be licensed in the state of North Carolina.
What to Expect
This position is best suited for individuals who are ambitious and inspired through creativity and collaboration, as they will serve as a project leader for new and existing clients, while also actively participating in the growth of the new regional office. They will also participate in business development efforts, community engagement events, and will be responsible for mentoring junior members as the team grows.\ The architect will direct design documentation effortsthroughout the design and construction phases of multiple projects. They must exhibit signs of leadership, solve problems by applying the foundationalprinciples of design, and identify and effectively communicate deviations in the project scope. They will also coordinate, and guide, the design and project meetings with clients and the project team.
Job Functions &Responsibilities
- Direct design documentation through design and construction phases.
{=html} <!-- --> - Manage and produce content, products, and final design deliverables, as required. - Present final products to our clients and key stakeholders. - Identify, communicate, and document deviations in the project scope. - Coordinate and lead design and project meetings with clients and project team. - Participate in the development and maintenance of client relationships. - Participate in interviews for new projects. - Actively look for and recommend ways to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Minimum Requirements
- Architectural License
- Bachelor\'s degree in architecture
- 7+ years of experience
Travel Opportunity
Travel may be required, but would not exceed 15-25% of scheduled working hours. This includes travel to headquarters, various projects, miscellaneous conferences, and other travel as needed.
