Robert Half IT Director in Little Rock, Arkansas

Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Director to lead the technology operations of our organization in Little Rock, Arkansas. This role requires a dynamic leader who can oversee IT infrastructure, drive strategic initiatives, and collaborate across departments to align technology solutions with business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to advancing organizational efficiency through innovative IT practices.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the recruitment, management, and training of IT department staff to build a skilled and cohesive team.

• Develop and implement department processes that align with company goals, ensuring operational efficiency.

• Manage vendor relationships, including auditing, contract negotiations, and accountability measures.

• Plan, execute, and evaluate IT projects to meet the needs of stakeholders and support business growth.

• Oversee IT infrastructure operations, including networking, server management, virtualization, patch management, and software applications.

• Direct the technology roadmap for revenue streams, including Transportation Management Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, telematics, load visibility tools, and asset maintenance.

• Supervise back-office technology systems such as finance, payroll, imaging, accounts payable/receivable, safety, recruiting, and HR platforms.

• Establish cybersecurity protocols, including security baselines, incident response plans, and strategies to address vulnerabilities.

• Provide data analytics and visualization tools that empower departments with actionable insights.

• Collaborate with all departments to ensure IT solutions meet organizational needs and support overall business objectives.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT leadership roles.

• Proficiency in Cisco technologies, cloud solutions, and backup systems.

• Demonstrated expertise in CRM and ERP solutions, including deployment and management.

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and deskside support processes.

• Experience with vendor management and IT project oversight.

• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and other logistics-related technologies.

• Proven ability to manage contracts and negotiate effectively.
