KITCHEN TUNE UP Finish Carpenter/Cabinet Installer/Field Tech in Little Canada, Minnesota

The Kitchen Tune-Up technician works with professionalism and consistency to successfully meet customer project expectations. Duties and Responsibilities: Customer Relationship Management Jointly with the Sales Consultant review installation schedule with client. Keep customer current with project timelines. Jointly with Sales Consultant review any unexpected issues with client and determine a solution that both parties are comfortable with. Project Management Responsibilities Accurately measure supplies needed for project including door/drawer openings for refacing, allowable cabinet space for new cabinets, all trim pieces needed, tile, flooring and other supplies. Determine amount of time needed for project installation and add to overall project scheduling board. Schedule subcontractors needed for installation including counters, plumbers and others Provide complete project supply list to be ordered for project including those items needed from KTU suppliers and those purchased locally such flooring, tile and consumables. Installation Responsibilities Lead on-site teams for timely project completion and customer satisfaction. Efficient with measurements and power tools Follow Trustpoints while on job Keep work area clean and orderly and clean up daily Communicate with project manager/Sales Consultant daily about progress Work quickly and efficiently (clients do not want us in their home any longer than needed) Mentor other installers to grow skills Use creative thinking when unexpected situation arise keeping the project on time and on budget while making sure the best possible outcome for the client. Shop Upkeep Make sure all consumable supplies are stocked and available for installations Keep shop orderly and clean including sweeping floors and keeping work spaces clean Look for opportunities to use stocked and miss ordered products into current projects. Maximize the use of current supplies instead of purchasing new ones
