Purpose
The Project Manager will lead various programs and projects, including applications and rulemakings at the jurisdictional Utility Commissions on behalf of Liberty’s multi-state regulated utility operations. This role will manage project teams handling internal and external audits, and play an integral role developing and maintaining forecast models for regulatory filings.

Accountabilities
Lead for a team of subject matter experts from various internal departments (finance, operations, engineering, customer care), external consultants, and other utilities to develop testimony, serve as a witness at hearings, prepare other witnesses for hearings, manage data request responses (including writing responses and reviewing responses to ensure consistency and quality), and build relationships with external parties, including the Commission(s), to help reach successful outcomes for proceedings and build Liberty’s reputation.
Responsible for managing internal and external audits and be responsible for managing the production of all information requested by the auditors. Able to build positive, professional relationships with auditors and Liberty staff responsible for providing the information requested by auditors.
Manage project teams in developing forecasts and managing rates for regional utilities. Ensure that all models are accurate and provide the information needed for executives to make decisions in determining the best course of action for the company. The project manager will also work to develop new models.
Clearly explain and describe the forecasting models to senior management, intervenors and governmental agencies. Perform impact analysis of new regulations from a quantitative perspective and identify any financial risks associated with the regulations.
Attend and represent the company at various regulatory proceedings and travel to the function locations as required.
Education and Experience
Strong leadership skills and the ability to work with all levels of an organization including people with different styles and backgrounds.
Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team to maintain project timelines, budgets, and deliver on commitments.
Bachelor’s degree with a preferred focus in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related area of study
8+ years' of experience in regulatory or an adjacent function, preferably within the utility industry
Ability to motivate direct and/or indirectly reporting project teams.
