LINDSAY TRANSPORTATION SOLUTIONS Traffic Dispatcher in Lindsay, Nebraska

is currently seeking a dynamic individual for a Traffic Dispatcher in Lindsay, NE. Lindsay is a global leader in producing products that help feed the world and ensure the safety of others.

In this role; you will be coordinating drivers to maximize capabilities and prioritize loads as appropriate according to customer requests through the Lindsay Transportation Department for both inbound and outbound loads. The Traffic Dispatcher will report directly to our logistics' manager.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, training, and/or on-the-job training
  • General office skills (i.e. typing, data entry, accurate filing)
  • Proficient in Microsoft products (especially excel)Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Attention to Detail, Self-motivated and ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated experience in various areas of the transportation industry
  • Exposure to D.O.T., I.C.C. and state regulations
  • Current with transportation industry technology advances
  • Ability to read and understand maps, calculate miles, and freight rates
  • Ability to establish good rapport and communication with internal and external customers
  • Dispatching experience preferred
