Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in the Union County, NJ area. In this role, you will play an integral part in supporting our accounting operations by managing cash receipt data and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and has exceptional organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
• Extract and analyze cash receipt data to ensure accuracy.
• Input, format, and adjust financial data within predefined templates.
• Upload processed financial information into Sage X3 software.
• Conduct data entry with a high level of precision.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes.
Requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cash Receipts Analyst or Accounting Clerk role.
• Ability to work with financial templates and manipulate data effectively.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Prior experience in a retail environment is a plus.
• Comfortable working with new systems and adapting to changes in processes.
