Position Summary

The Nespresso story began with a simple but revolutionary idea: enable anyone to create the perfect cup of espresso coffee. Since 1986, Nespresso has redefined and revolutionized the way millions of people enjoy their espresso coffee. As part of the Nespresso HQ Supply Chain Lisbon Center, we are currently looking for a full time Supply Planner to manage the supply network of a range of products in one of the following categories: Coffee, Machines or Accessories. Each international and market's distribution center must be replenished with a total delivered cost mindset while meeting business objectives. This professional will provide production requirements to manufacturers and follow-up production and distribution plans to ensure that finished goods are available on-time, at the right quantity, at the right stock location and with the expected freshness level (for coffee, food and bites).

A day in the life of a Supply Planner at Nespresso...

  • Establish Monthly Production Review with internal and external manufacturers;

  • Follow a feasible 18 months production plan, built by the manufacturer and based on total requirements;

  • Establish committed capacity, including timing proposals for suppliers shutdowns, investments;

  • Ensure successful product launches and phase-outs by liaising with the Category Demand Planner in order to understand if launch or phase-out information has been submitted to the markets;

  • Analyze and evaluate the supply plans and net dispatch requirements to satisfy customer needs taking into account the network complexity and the supply constraints;

  • Consistently achieve sustainable Stock Availability levels across markets within the Working Capital and Freshness objectives by ensuring that the weekly planning process is executed on time;

  • Plan and optimize mixed loads taking into account transportation constraints and costs;

  • Check and challenge Market's stock availability and stock cover results;

  • Challenge and support Demand Planner to drive forecast accuracy improvement;

  • Optimize inventory levels in the International Distribution Centers.

What will make you successful

  • Master Degree, Engineering is a plus;

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in one of the following areas is mandatory:Supply Planning; Distribution planning; Factory Planning; Demand Planning or Logistics;

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel), a preliminary experience with SAP-APO and SAP-R3 is a plus;

  • Ability to develop reports on PowerBI is a plus;

  • Analytical skills and an eye for details;

  • Ability to think "outside of the box" and challenge status quo;

  • Able to balance priorities and high proactivity;

  • Strong team player;

  • Stakeholder management and engagement;

  • Tradeoff management;

  • Fluent in English.
