POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a Supply Chain Project Manager to join the Nespresso Supply Chain Hub in Lisbon.

In line with Nestle/Nespresso's strategy, this professional's main mission will be to lead and manage projects of excellence in the areas of physical logistics, warehouse management systems and delivery services in the markets where Nespresso operates.

The main objectives will be to improve E2E service levels, reduce costs, ensure compliance of logistics operations and support growth and innovation in line with market and customer needs.

A day in the life of a Supply Chain Project Manager...

  • Ensure compliance, follow guidelines, training manuals, project methodologies and support the implementation of projects within the markets.

  • Pilot and report consolidated KPIs and define action plans with the markets (project execution requires respect of Nestlé/Nespresso guidelines).

  • Interact with Nestlé's Corporate Supply Chain to align guidelines and priorities and with HQ functions as the single point of contact on Supply Chain expertise areas.

  • Intensify a Customer Focused Supply Chain, align with the commercial strategy for direct-to-consumer distribution, lead projects for the development of new delivery options and innovative distribution models in collaboration with the commercial team, markets, and IS/IT.

  • Support changes in logistics operations in the transportation and distribution markets and contribute to the optimal integration of "Last Mile" services into Nespresso's logistics solutions.

  • Optimize operating costs and develop operational excellence.

  • Support continuous improvement projects in the markets.

  • Developing corporate relations with 3PLs and participating in tender decisions in the markets.

  • Define performance KPIs, consolidate market measures, monitor, and compare performance.

  • Raise awareness of the systems' capabilities among logistics users in the markets (ERP, BI, e-business, WMS).

  • Be the single point of contact for IT project managers to specify and validate the evolution of basic systems.

  • Coordinate priorities according to their impact on the business.

What will make you successful…

  • University degree or equivalent with a specialization in Supply Chain/Logistics.

  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in logistics and distribution operations or in managing continuous improvement projects in an international environment and in a direct-to-consumer business model (logistics, distribution, etc.).

  • Management and leadership experience in project delivery activities or logistics and distribution operations.

  • Experience in e-commerce (highly recommended and mandatory for the DS area).

  • Agile spirit and analytical skills.

  • Experience in Power BI and SAP Hana is mandatory.

  • Willingness to travel all over the world.

  • Good stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluent English required.

  • Training in Project Management (highly recommended).
