Position Summary

The Packaging Design & Labelling Coordinator - Global Brands will support Global Brand SBU (Strategic Business Unit) team in managing the end-to-end flow of brand identity, packaging masterfiles and packaging-related visual communications for Global Innovation or Renovation project(s), for one or more assigned Global Brand. Contributes to the efficient, effective and flawless execution of the Design to Delivery (D2D) process. Supports the operationalization of Brand Design at Nestlé, partnering with preferred Agencies, leveraging Nestlé digital tools and processes, and supporting the global rollout of new design assets for assigned Brand(s). He/She must be able to deal with complex organizational model, with internal stakeholders (Global Design Team, SBU, Zone, IBS, IT and Markets) as well as external partners (Strategic Design Agencies, Adaptive Agencies, Artwork & Prepress Agencies) and must be able to drive change management and be a passionate advocate for driving brand design excellence and consistency.

A day in the life of...

• Drives the end-to-end project management of brand identity and packaging projects on behalf of the Global Brand Team responsible for the assigned Global Brand, including all tasks in the Workflow (e.g., project initiation, team member/agency designation, reference/input identification, template/saved records incorporation, time planning, etc.)

• Enables fluid communication between the Global Brand Team and the assigned Agency Partner(s) to align and maintain expected deliverables and timings.

• Orchestrates the collection and dissemination of required references, inputs, and key information via the D2D Workflow to all required parties to ensure work output strives for Right First Time.

• Manages the master label information for assigned Brand, interfacing with all functions/ individuals responsible for providing information or assets required for a packaging project’s success.

• Responsible for managing and maintaining all relevant design or label templates to ease the local adaptation of design projects by Markets.

• Reviews Market adaptation routed for Global Brand Team validation and escalates requests that contravene established brand guidance to the Brand Design Lead and/or Global Brand Team.

• Supports the digital archiving of packaging and design assets ensuring final masterfiles and digital assets are made available in the Nestlé ContentHub (DAM), and/or referenced in the relevant Brand Portal digital guidelines.

• Contributes to the continuous improvement of the D2D Workflow and the Label Info tool ecosystem by participating in the D2D Champions community and attending trainings on new functionalities.

What will make you successful

• Minimum 4+ years agency or in-house experience managing the graphic chain of packaging design projects from development to files to DAM/printer

• Ideally experience working on Global Brands and managing end-to-end of packaging projects from design, production, artwork through to CGI development, including collation of label information

• Experience project managing brand identity projects, focusing on visual assets and guidance

• Demonstrates strong visual, written, and oral communication skills

• Proven English skills: writing, reading, speaking

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Design, Communications or related field

• Understanding of print production, printing, and color management an added bonus

• Experience working with digital workflows, DAM, and document management

• Understanding of digital file formats for packaging design master files and related assets
