Job Description

Serve as a center of expertise and assistance for line Technicians and Manufacturing Engineers in maintaining production equipment. Assist during startups and breakdowns on Electrical/Electronic/Controls issues. Assure that all incoming Production Equipment adheres to all Electrical/Electronic specifications as per the LctP General Delivery Specification and all safety requirements.

  • Troubleshooting, design and modification of Electrical/Electronic Equipment to include PLC’s, PC’s, Servo’s, Robots and various other control devices.

  • Assist Engineers and Production Technicians in logic of machine programming and debug.

  • Investigate, analyse and evaluate Assembly station controls, make modifications as needed and feedback information design, etc. for print changes.

  • Provide training for Engineers, Technicians and Operators in function, operation, troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment.

  • Assist in acceptance of manufacturing equipment assembled in-house and from outside suppliers.

  • Knowledge of processes as related to assembly, production rate and quality standards.

  • Ability to use standard Electrical/Electronic test equipment to ensure proper operation of production equipment.

  • Perform miscellaneous duties as required.

  • Maintain clean, orderly work area.

  • Self-motivated

Qualifications

  • Technical Associates degree in related field or 4 years related experience

  • Proficient Level Technician preferred, with demonstrated ability to move to Advanced Level or equivalent work experience.

  • Proficiency in reading Blueprints, Functional Diagrams, Electrical/Electronic Schematics and Computer Programs.

  • Leadership abilities

  • Machine installation skills and thorough knowledge of the Bosch AdP General Delivery Specification

  • Controls, programming and troubleshooting skills

  • Proficiency in machine wiring process

  • Knowledge of AdP production processes

  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm and strong work ethic

  • Ability to adapt to change

  • Must possess good communication and interaction skills

  • Must have demonstrated the ability to work in a team environment

  • Must be able to handle multiple priorities with minimum supervision
