Aerotek Press Brake Operator in Lincoln, Nebraska

 Press Brake Operator -- Weekly Pay -- 2nd and 3rd Shift

Pay: $18-$20/hr

As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for the set-up of hydraulic CNC Press Brakes or Punch Presses. You will form parts to print, document progress, and maintain efficiency in a high volume environment. It is crucial to maintain minimum or preferably zero scrap levels and identify material defects throughout the runs.

Responsibilities

  • Set-up hydraulic CNC Press Brakes or Punch Presses.

  • Form parts to print and document progress.

  • Maintain efficiency in a high volume environment.

  • Maintain minimum or zero scrap levels.

  • Identify material defects throughout the runs.

Essential Skills

  • 6+ months blueprint reading experience.

  • 6+ months using measurement tools such as protractors, calipers, and dial calipers.

  • 6+ months operating a press brake or punch press.

  • 6+ months CNC machine operating experience.

  • 6+ months experience setting up machines with PLC programs and ability to edit.

  • Ability to lift 60+ lbs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
