Job Description
An Employer is looking for a remote Application Security Architect that will be working to secure personal data on federal loan processing applications. This person will come from a very strong .Net and or Java development background and will be performing hands on development as well as team management. The ideal candidate will have experience managing small teams, a background in both software engineering and SecOps, some DevOps and knowledge and strong interpersonal skills. Skills and Requirements
- Strong Development background, well versed in .NET or Java, ideally can work in both
- Good development knowledge of Angular/Node.JS
- Some DevOps and CI/CD exposure, AWS and container knowledge is a plus
- Good knowledge of Opensource libraries and how to manage their vulnerabilities
- Very strong soft skills, ability to manage other team members and take the lead on projects on a small team
- Ideally has both a development and Security Operations background
- Experience with Gitlab and Sonarqube and SQL injections
- Must have a Confidential level security clearance - AWS and Container experience
- Hands on coding experience with both Java and C#/.Net null
