E.S. Evans and Company Staff Accountant in Lima, Ohio
E.S. Evans and Company is a full-service accounting firm located in downtown Lima, Ohio. We provide tax, accounting, audit, and consulting services to small and mid-size privately-held businesses, non-profit organizations, and individuals.
Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a self-motivated, dedicated team member with industry experience to perform tax, accounting, and audit engagements and contribute to the growth and success of the firm. Working directly with clients and with management, you will prepare business and individual tax returns; perform compilations, reviews, and audits; complete engagements in all aspects of accounting including tax planning and research; and develop and cultivate professional client relationships.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- CPA license or on track to obtain CPA license (preferred)
- 2+ years of accounting experience progressing in scope and responsibility
- Strong analytical, communication, client service, organizational, time management, and PC skills including accounting and tax software proficiency
- GAAP knowledge, demonstrated initiative, and attention to detail
- Eagerness to develop technical skills in audit, tax, and advisory services
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and juggle priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
