Robert Half General Office Clerk in Liberty Corner, New Jersey

Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented General Office Clerk to join our team in Liberty Corner, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on operational and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting account managers and ensuring the smooth execution of daily office functions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry tasks, including setting up client profiles, entering information, and attaching relevant documents received through DocuSign.

• Investigate returned mail to identify and update correct addresses.

• Manage overflow work within the operations department, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.

• Assist with scheduling receptionist duties on a rotational basis.

• Organize and maintain files, both physical and digital, for efficient access and retrieval.

• Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to create, edit, and manage documents and spreadsheets.

• Collaborate with account managers to support their workload and operational needs.

• Take detailed notes on processes and procedures, proactively asking questions to clarify tasks.

• Scan and digitize documents for record-keeping.

• Maintain excellent customer service while handling inquiries and correspondence. Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in administrative or office support roles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage files and documents efficiently.

• Experience in data entry and attention to detail for accurate information handling.

• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients.

• Ability to adapt and learn new processes, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with document scanning and digital filing systems.
